Romy joined Freedom FFS in October 2022 as casual admin support staff, working on SMSF setups while finishing college. After graduating college, she became full-time for her ‘gap-year,’ learning the complexities of the SMSF set up process and becoming one of the SMSF set up team’s account managers.

While Romy has been responsible for managing many stages of the SMSF set up process – from the initial order, to the legal establishment documents, and rollover processes – her current focus is on liaising with outgoing superannuation funds. This sees her spending hours every day on the phone to outgoing funds, helping them solve any issues to ensure the rollover process is as smooth as possible and not unnecessarily delayed, and keeping clients in the loop.

Romy understands that FFS clients are keen to protect their financial future for retirement, and so strives to provide the best service possible.

She enjoys working out at the gym and will start a Bachelor’s Degree at the Australian National University in 2024, during which time she intends to continue to work part-time with the SMSF setup team.
