Georgina Misfeld

SMSF Accountant

What started as an uninspired flick through a UAI book in year 11 ignited a long-term career in Self Managed Superannuation.

 

Georgina originally came to Canberra to attend ANU and complete a degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, Management and Marketing, and has never left. She started working with Self Managed Superannuation Fund after her university degree was completed in 2007. Except for a short dalliance Auditing and being told she had too much personality for an Auditor, Georgina returned to the Self Managed Superannuation world and has worked exclusively in this industry ever since.

Currently, Georgina is a member of the SMSF Association and is undertaking her SMSF Specialist Accreditation with the Association and wishes to complete the SMSF Auditor accreditation after that.

When allowed out of the office Georgina enjoys spending her time at the family property, competing in Clay Target shooting competitions across the east coast of Australia, camping and being outdoor as much as possible.
