Cass Smith

Director, Financial Adviser, Mortgage Broker and Tax Accountant, Senior Business Accountant and Tax Agent, Tax Team Manager and Senior Business Accountant

Cass is a qualified accountant, tax agent, mortgage broker, real estate agent and property adviser, with decades of public and private experience in the industry, including as an owner of award-winning businesses.

Cass is also an author and regular contributor in Your Investment Property Magazine, the 2019 Telstra Business woman of the Year (ACT), and has been awarded 50 plus other ACT, NSW and Australian awards in the financial services sector.

Cass has 30+ years’ experience in taxation, business, SMSFs, finance, mortgages, financial planning, property and share market investing, including 11 years with the Australian Taxation Office as a senior Fraud Investigator and Director. She was the founder of Wholistic Financial Solutions, Australia’s most awarded financial services firm, with a mission to guide clients to financial freedom.

In 2022, in response to the increasing financial challenges and pressures faced by everyday Australians, Cass founded Freedom Financial Solutions FFS. In particular, she is committed to helping people find ways to navigate the dynamic changes impacting their freedoms and human rights and follows the ‘do as we do’ model, rather than the more common ‘do as we say’ approach.

Cass has a Master’s Degree in Tax Law. Degree in Accounting. Diploma of Financial Planning. Diploma of Advanced Financial Planning. Diploma of Mortgage Broking. Diploma of Finance. Diploma of Real Estate. She is also a Justice of Peace (ACT) and qualified as a Certified Master Results Coach and NLP Practitioner.

She competed on the Australia Dragon Team in 2013 and travelled extensively competing with her State and National teams. One of her teams broke the Guinness book of records for longest distance in a Dragon Boat in 24 hours. In 2022, Cass was a Candidate for United Australia Party in the federal election.

On top of all of that she has single handedly raised 4 wonderful children. In her spare time Cass enjoys snow skiing, boating, yoga, training in MMA and target shooting.
