Cass Smith
Cass is a highly accomplished, multi-qualified financial professional with over three decades of experience across taxation, business, SMSFs, finance, mortgages, property, and share market investing. She is a qualified accountant, registered tax agent, mortgage broker, licensed real estate agent, property adviser, and a specialist in Succession, Asset Protection & Estate Planning (SAPEP). Her career spans both public and private sectors, including over 11 years at the Australian Taxation Office, where she served as a Senior Fraud Investigator and Director.
As the founder of two nationally recognised firms, Cass has built a legacy of leadership and innovation. In 2006, she established Wholistic Financial Solutions, which became Australia’s most awarded financial services business. In 2021, she founded Freedom Financial Solutions (FFS) in response to growing financial instability and the increasing pressures faced by ordinary men and women.
At FFS, Cass leads with a “do as we do” philosophy—not the typical “do as we say”—which has generated strong support from individuals seeking genuine, practical pathways to protect what they’ve worked hard for.
Cass is dedicated to helping everyday people secure their financial position in an increasingly complex and fast-changing financial, legal, and regulatory environment. Her work focuses on equipping individuals with the tools, structures, and strategies needed to take control of their future and shield their families from unnecessary risk.
A recognised leader in her field, Cass was named the 2019 Telstra Business Woman of the Year (ACT) and has received more than 50 awards across the ACT, NSW, and national levels for excellence in financial services. She is a regular contributor to Your Investment Property Magazine and the author of several publications in taxation, property, and strategic wealth-building.
Cass holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation Law, a Bachelor of Accounting, and Diplomas in Financial Planning, Advanced Financial Planning, Mortgage Broking, Finance, and Real Estate. She is also a Justice of the Peace (ACT), a Certified Master Results Coach, and an accredited NLP Practitioner.
Outside her professional work, Cass is an elite athlete who represented Australia in the 2013 Dragon Boat World Championships and helped break the Guinness World Record for the longest distance paddled in 24 hours. She enjoys snow skiing, boating, yoga, MMA training, and target shooting.
A devoted mother of four, Cass has raised her children with strength, independence, and purpose. Committed to standing up where it counts, she ran as the Canberra candidate for the United Australia Party in the 2022 federal election and is the Queensland Senate candidate for the HEART Party in 2025.
A vocal advocate for financial literacy, personal sovereignty, and sustainable living, Cass is driven to support everyday men and women in reclaiming their choices, strengthening their position, and building a future on their own terms.
